Locally heavy rainfall is possible overnight and through noon Wednesday. It is cloudy and dry right now, but all models show another round of potentially severe weather on the way early Wednesday morning. Model timing varies, but they all show showers with storms developing around daybreak near and along I-10 and I-75 then spreading across the area through around noon. Locally heavy rainfall, damaging wind, hail and tornadoes remain the main hazards.

Wednesday: Scattered showers with storms will develop before sunrise and continue through around noon. Strong to isolated severe storms will be possible as well as another round of locally heavy rainfall, 50-80 percent. Morning lows in the 60s to low 70s. Afternoon highs in the 80s. Wind SW 10-15 mph. Clearing skies overnight.
Scattered showers will clear the area through the early afternoon with partly cloudy skies developing by late afternoon.
